hey guys, this is my second project for music tech. This project was based around using the FPC, the Chop tool, and the Transpose tool. I started off with a drum beat from the FPC called Fpc Ambient groove 01. Next i added a simple bass line using the Boo Bass. Then, I added a guitar riff which i made using the chop tool with the pattern superstition. AFter that riff, the drums switch to a new FPC loop and another guitar part starts which was again made using the chop tool with that same pattern. Then in the liitle space that follows another new FPC loop starts and a new guitar riff starts, but this one was made from the first guitar loop but transposed up an octave. And the little end bit is just a crash symbol and bass. One thing i found hard about this was trying to find a good guitar riff using the chop tool because it kept coming out in ways that i didnt like, for example, the notes were too short or there were too few notes. Other than that, i really didnt have any other problems. Enjoy!!

This is really great, I had the same problem with the guitar, it just didn't seem to want to do what you want.
ReplyDeleteNice bass line with the drum loops, and nice lines all around. The FPC loops were a good choice for the rest of your instruments and good use of slayer piece, though a few notes were as you said a little short. Good piece all around
ReplyDeleteI really liked the bass line sounded really good. The drums also fit in with the bass line. The guitar riff was also vary cool. Great job
ReplyDeleteNice bass line. I liked how its just drums in the intro, and the bass came in at the perfect time. The guitar is i think to conserved, but the second guitar riff is pretty cool, i think it really goes with the bass and drums. I would let the notes ring on the first guitar part or add in more notes.
